Herald
by Virtual Guardians
Herald connects Cisco Webex Calling to your CRM: when a call rings, Herald matches the caller against your HubSpot contacts and pops the matching record for the answering agent — in a browser window, an installable desktop app, or the Herald sidebar inside the Webex App.
We aim to respond to support requests within one business day (US Eastern time).
No pop appears when a call rings. Confirm you are signed in (the page shows your name when connected), the window or tab is open, and your administrator has assigned you a Herald license. The ⓘ button in the app header shows a diagnostics panel with connection status you can read back to support.
The caller wasn't matched. Herald matches on the phone numbers stored in your HubSpot contact records. Check that the contact's number is present and includes the right country/area code.
How do updates work? Herald is a web application — reopening or reloading the window always loads the current version. There is nothing to patch or reinstall.
How do I disconnect or uninstall? Administrators can disconnect the HubSpot
connection from the Herald Admin Console, or revoke Herald from HubSpot under
Settings → Integrations → Connected apps; either immediately stops CRM lookups.
Agents can remove the desktop app like any browser-installed app (e.g. Chrome:
chrome://apps → right-click → Remove). To close your account or request
deletion of stored data, email
info@virtual-guardians.com — see our
Privacy Policy for what Herald stores and for how long.
The service reports its live version at herald.virtual-guardians.com/health. If Herald appears down, check that page first, then contact us.
